Install Instructions for Dropbox Component |

- Go to Dropbox and create a account (if you already have an dropbox account jump to step 4)
- download and install the Dropbox-Software
- follow the instructions to link your computer to dropbox. Visit the Dropbox Help Centre if you have problems
- download the Joomla Dropbox Component
- unzip dropbox_unzip_first.zip
- log into your joomla administration interface
- navigate to Extensions->Install / Uninstall and install the com_dropbox.zip file
- navigate to Components->Dropbox
- Click to "New"
- Type in a foldername (e.g. "files"). This folder will be a subfolder of "joomla". You don't need to create "joomla" it will be created automaticaly
- Click to "Save" - to save your joomla-dropbox
- Click to "Parameters" to set up the configuration
- Click to the "Connect" link in the "Action"-Column
- You will be redirected to the Dropbox Website, and it asks you if you would like to connect "Joomla Component" to Dropbox
- Click to "Allow"
- You will be redirected back to your own webpage, and a folder "joomla" is created in your Dropbox. Don't mind the error!
- Navigate to your Dropbox and go into the joomla directory
- Create here the directory, your choose in step 10 (e.g. "files").
- Put files into this directory
- Go back to Joomla, and relode the page. Your files should be visible now.
- You can access the Dropbox in Joomla via index.php?option=com_dropbox&id=3 , replace the 'id=' parameter with your Joomla-Dropbox-ID. You will find it under Components->Dropbox. Or you can create a menu to your Joomla-Dropbox
- If you like to use the plugin navigate to Extensions->Install / Uninstall and install the plg_dropboxplugin.zip file
- Navigate to Extensions -> Plugin Manager and activate the Dropbox Plugin
- Now you can add in every content: {dropbox}xx{/dropbox} replace xx with with your Joomla-Dropbox-ID. You will find it under Components->Dropbox
